Jared and I are finally both able to sing in the Ward Choir. The always need men and Jared's an amazing Baritone. I'm a fairly strong alto, so they always want us. But the kids were never old enough to leave on the bench on their own (and be trusted) while we went up to sing. But now they are, and it's great.
Downside is we get picked for smaller groups, and much harder songs. Check this one out! I'm 2nd Alto, so the very bottom notes. It's crazy, insane hard. I haven't had to truly concentrate on notes for years. After our first practice I couldn't have told you what the song was about if you'd paid me.
But I love it, the harmony is amazing. It's called, "The Mountain of the Lord." Watch it, it's beautiful.
