Scary Halloween

Even though Halloween is always cute and fun with lots of candy, there is, of course, another side of Halloween.

This freaky kid spooked London and Aspen pretty good. He'd just get down low in their faces, but they still gave him candy, which means they weren't too scared.
Our neighborhood is WAY too into Halloween. This house is at the opposite end of our street. That's Aspen in the red shirt trying to get up the guts to go get some candy from these guys. The man with the green bucket drug an ax around looking all freaky. If you look behind him there's a man with a Joker mask sitting down, he has a chain saw. These guys were hilarious. They'd get all the teenagers nice and comfortable thinking they were just "looking" freaky while they'd hand out candy. Then the chainsaw guy would randomly jump up, rev up the chain saw and chase about 20 teenagers down the street. SOOO funny! We sat and watched him for a good half hour. Took London and Aspen about that long to get up the courage to go get some candy from them. Just so you know they'd never chase the little kids, only the teenagers.

So we've got the chainsaw man down the street, but if you go around the corner there are 2 houses that block off their sidewalks and driveways and turn it into a Haunted Path. SO scary and SO fun! London and Aspen were brave last year, Phoenix thought he was brave this year but copped out at the end, I think he was mostly just pooped from the Trick-or-Treating.

Here's the entrance. The bearded man told us that the first half is for the kiddies. Nothing jumps out, just headless statues and jungles full of snakes and spiders. Then you'll hit a door that says "Fuzzy Bunny." At that point you have 2 choices. Go on to get totally freaked out and possibly have nightmares, or take the early exit and be done. London and Aspen opted to go all the way.

I had my camera on and around my neck filming our trip through the Haunted Path. This is not the best video in the world. You can hardly see anything because everything is so dark in the Haunted Path. It's 3 1/2 mins long, but you'll get the gist of what goes on inside this little Haunted Path. There was a Hannable man with a chainsaw, creapy clowns, freaky shadow men that jumped out of no where, crazy Banshee women and more.

At the exit of the scary part of the Haunted Path. They've had this up all Halloween Season.
